After re-debuting as GIRLSET, members Savanna, Lexi, Camila, and Kendall have quickly become the girl group that the world needs (and that I need). The pop meets R&B quartet takes the "girl next door" concept and makes it bratty, cool, and chic. It's like they have this aura and sound about them that can almost be comparable to a FLO sound with a Bratz aesthetic and I cannot get enough of it. 

After the success of their second single, "Little Miss", (which had a remix featuring Missy Elliott btw) the girl group came back with "TWEAK." Their third song starts with a sample from "Weak" by SWV, but immediately changes the meaning of the sample song with their lyrics as the song is all about being strong. It criticizes "stupid boys" and how their worth can never be diminished by what a man thinks. Sonically, I am on my knees thankful that GIRLSET brought back key changes because the music industry is SEVERELY lacking. Such a simple concept but it can take a song to a whole other level and I felt this heavy in "TWEAK."

This track also marks a big milestone for the group, as all four members—Savanna, Lexi, Camila, and Kendall—are officially credited as songwriters. I mean, what more can you want... the group has 4 vocalists, 4 dancers, 4 writers, and 4 face cards. As a fan since the show that formed their previous group, I could not be more happy with the hard work that these girls have done and how much passion they have for what "GIRLSET" can and has become.
